BEIJING - Vice-Premier Li Keqiang on Monday reiterated Beijing's commitment to push forward the China-Russia comprehensive strategic and cooperative partnership, calling for more frequent people-to-people exchanges between the two neighbors.

Li made the remarks while meeting members of the China-Russia Friendship, Peace and Development Commission, which will hold its ninth plenary session on Tuesday at the Diaoyutai State Guest House in Beijing.

"We will unswervingly push forward the China-Russia comprehensive strategic and cooperative partnership regardless of changes in both the international and domestic situations," Li said, noting that the two countries have become each other's most important strategic cooperative partner.
