Heilongjiang foreign trade hits new highs

Imports balance exports on rising demand for raw materials and resources

Heilongjiang's foreign trade hit another historic high in the first 10 months of this year as it surpassed $32.8 billion, an increase of 56 percent over the same period last year, according to a report by the provincial commerce bureau.

From January to October, the province's exports totaled $16.08 billion, a 16.8 percent increase, as imports grew by 130.4 percent to $16.8 billion.
