Is there room for all of us?

If projections by the United Nations are correct, the world's population should reach 7 billion at some point on Monday. It's taken little more than a decade to add another billion, yet this latest milestone could have come five years earlier had it not been for China's family planning policy. As part of a project organized by LeDevoir, a French-language newspaper in Montreal, Canada, several journalists from different countries wrote about the biggest challenge for their region.
