World's longest flower carpet
A 2011-meter-long and 1.6-meter-wide chrysanthemum carpet at the 29th Chrysanthemum Festival in Kaifeng, Henan province, set a new world record as the longest flower carpet in the world on Tuesday.
The flower carpet, containing nearly 400,000 flowers set on the Zhengkai avenue, the expressway between Kaifeng and Zhengzhou, Henan's provincial capital, broke the former Guinness World Record, a 1916-meter-long flower carpet in Mexico in 2010.
