Shop door shatters and slashes owner's wrist

A 19-year-old storeowner in Suqian, Jiangsu province, suffered serious injuries to her left arm when she was hit by glass from a broken door.

The victim, Zhang, was opening her store in a shopping mall on Sept 4 when a large shard of glass fell, cutting two main tendons and four branch tendons in her wrist. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors gave her emergency treatment.
