Hospital doctor stood by as patient killed herself
Police are investigating allegations that a doctor failed to help a woman he saw commit suicide.
Su Xiuyun, 66, who had suffered from a mental illness for 30 years, was sent to a hospital in Shenyang, capital of Liaoning province, on Aug 29. She was discovered hanging from a doorframe on the morning of Aug 31.
