Teacher trawled for street trash to aid students
A retired teacher has helped 150 poor students go through school over the past 42 years by working as a garbage collector.
Pan Guangquan, 69, started his charitable efforts after leaving the army in 1969, spending 17 yuan ($3), half of his monthly wage, to help student Xiong Kewei to attend school.
