Expectations high from Xiamen fair

The opening day of the 15th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) in Xiamen was colorful and full of expectations. Many participants and visitors from across the world visit CIFIT every year. And all the participants and visitors that China Daily reporters talked with lauded the event and said their expectations from the fair were high.

Aston P. Kajara, minister of state for finance, planning and economic development of Uganda, who has been to CIFIT three times, said he had been able to attract some Chinese investors to Uganda during each of his visits.
