All-out efforts to woo talents

During this year's fair, Siming district will receive 53 business delegations from countries and regions including Canada, the United States, Australia, Singapore, the United Kingdom, the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

The investment promotion seminars, lectures, and on-site visits will be arranged for potential investors who will be able to learn more about preferential policies, the investment climate and potential investment projects.

Coinciding with the trade and investment fair, the 2011 Xiamen Siming Cross Straits Friendship Gathering will run from Sept 8-11 at May 1st Plaza. The gathering includes a themed gala, a folk culture performances show, a Fujian-Taiwan Wushu Street Show, an auto show and a book show for Taiwan publishers.
