Province targets multinational firms for industrial upgrading

Fujian province is gaining traction in its effort to attract capital from multinational companies, the provincial government said ahead of the 15th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT).

Fujian will also continue to seek and optimize the use of investment from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Southeast Asia, the government said.

During the 15th CIFIT, Fujian will focus on attracting investment from businesses based in Europe, the US, Japan and South Korea, as well as other leading global enterprises.
