Exclusive elevator raises hackles at city institute

Workers at a design and research institute in Chongqing have called for a "special" elevator used only by executives to be opened to all.

The institute's high-rise office building has four passenger elevators for its 800 employees and three freight elevators for goods. However, another elevator is reserved solely for leaders and VIPs. Some staff members have called for the elevator to be opened to ease congestion at peak times.
