Peddler wins place at us university

A young man from Fengcheng county, Jiangxi province, who worked as a peddler in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, was admitted by a US university after six years of hard study and the help of a US teacher.

Yang Yicheng, 23, went to Shenzhen with his parents to earn money in 2003 after graduating from a junior middle school. One evening in September 2005 a foreigner named Nash started helping him sell fruit in the street and continued to do so the following evenings.
