Air China to add capacity
Air China Ltd, the world's largest carrier by market value, will accelerate capacity expansion on domestic routes in the second half to meet rising travel demand in the world's fastest-growing major economy.
The airline will increase domestic capacity by 10 percent in the six months to December after adding 4 percent in the first half, Chief Financial Officer Fan Cheng said in Hong Kong on Monday.

Mongolian mine still under talks
A group led by China Shenhua Energy Co, which was chosen to develop Mongolia's Tavan Tolgoi coal deposit, is still in talks over the project, the Chinese coal producer said on Monday. It didn't disclose the content of the negotiations.
The Mongolian government said on July 4 that the group will get a 40 percent share in Tavan Tolgoi, while Peabody Energy Corp will hold 24 percent and a Russian-Mongolian venture will have 36 percent.
Domestic fund managers to rise
Domestic companies may outnumber Chinese-foreign joint fund managers in China by 2014 as international partners exit the market and the competition for talent intensifies, said a PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP survey.
There may be 45 joint mutual fund managers in China by 2014, compared with 50 wholly domestic companies. At present, jointly held companies outnumber domestic firms 36 to 26, said the biennial survey.
