Contest winner to present new-style folk music

Mai Sui (pictured), winner of the 10th CCTV Young Singers Awards Competition, will hold a concert on Oct 16 at Beijing Workers' Gymnasium. She will present classic Chinese folk songs as well as new songs that showcase her distinctive new style.

She will invite pop and jazz stars to join her to present traditional folk music in a new light.
