Yingluck Shinawatra, first female PM of Thailand

Yingluck Shinawatra, a 44-year-old former business woman, is the youngest Thai prime minister, and probably the youngest woman prime minister in the world. Although having no political experience, with Thaksin's influence, led the Party formed by her brother to a landslide victory in the July 3 election.

Born in the northern Chiangmai province of Thailand on June 27, 1967, Yingluck has two degrees in politics - an undergraduate from the northern Chiangmai province, her family's power base and a master's degree from Kentucky State University.
