China Daily | Updated: 2011-07-30 07:30

SHANGHAI - Gold-hungry Ryan Lochte grabbed his third and fourth titles of the Shanghai World Championships on Friday - and immediately set his sights on No 5, insisting he still had room for improvement.

The American, who has eclipsed his illustrious teammate Michael Phelps in Shanghai, won gold in the 4x200m freestyle relay and the 200m backstroke to add to his earlier victories in the 200m freestyle and 200m individual medley.

The US team was lagging in the relay after a sub-par lead-off leg from Phelps but Lochte powered home to ensure a record fourth straight win in the event for the American team.
