Great hardware, but poor quality instructors

The headquarters of what is claimed to be the biggest equestrian website in Asia is in Gaobeidian, in the east of Beijing, and has 20 employees.

The website, www.horse.org.cn, belongs to the Chinese Equestrian Association (CEA), which is in charge of the development of equestrian sports.

Wutzala, 37, general editor of the website, unlike his Manchu ancestors, never touched a horse until he moved to Beijing from his hometown of Wuhan, Hubei province, in 2002. He had his first experience riding on the Bashang grasslands near the capital and quit his job soon after to found the website with a few friends, in 2005.
