Charities urged to be more open
China will encourage more transparency in its charitable organizations over the next five years by increasing the amount of data it publishes on them and inviting the public to supervise them, Xinhua News Agency reported, citing a government paper.
The Ministry of Civil Affairs said that building transparency should be a "basic principle" in developing charity work over the next five years.
