Asian team takes on powerhouse US in final of women's World Cup
FRANKFURT, Germany - Japan takes on the United States in the women's World Cup final on Sunday, bidding to finish a fairytale by lifting the trophy just four months after an earthquake devastated its country.
The team's march to the final has been welcome news in a country struggling to recover from the March 11 earthquake and tsunami, which ravaged the northeast coast and triggered the Fukushima nuclear crisis.
