Yechury stresses need for two nations to tackle issues together
BEIJING - China and India should further strengthen their already strong bonds and work together on global political issues, a senior leader of the Indian communist party said during his current visit to China.
"Actually, we are now increasing cooperation in various fields. The formation of BRICS, for example, was a very positive development," Sitaram Yechury, member of the politburo of Communist Party of India (Marxist) and a member of Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament, told China Daily on Thursday.
