Lhasa-to-airport highway ready
Tibet has finished building its first expressway, a 38 kilometer, four-lane road linking Lhasa with Gonggar Airport in neighboring Shannan Prefecture, the local government said.
The toll-free expressway will halve the travel time between downtown Lhasa and the airport to 30 minutes.
