The Hyatt and Hawaiian Airlines new mileage incentive: HawaiianMiles members can earn 500 miles per eligible stay at any Hyatt hotel or resort. Hyatt Gold Passport members can convert their redeemed points into HawaiianMiles at a rate of 2.5 points per mile.

Gilt deals: Passengers aboard Delta, United, Virgin America, Alaska Airways and US Airlines planes can now log onto Gogo WiFi and receive exclusive deals that will have them surfing the web, courtesy of Gogo WiFi's partnership with the Gilt Group. Passengers will also have free access to Gilt.

New Zurich flight: Swiss International Airlines starts regular daily Beijing-Zurich flights from July 7, on Airbus A330-200.

Vietnam direct flight: Air China will open direct flights between Beijing and Ho Chi Minh City from Sept 3, with round-trip tickets from 880 yuan. Tickets are available by calling 4008-100-999.
