ELCO solar: beauty and benefit

ELCO, a division of Ariston Thermo Group (China), has integrated solar hot water systems instead of roof insulation layers on buildings ranging from the Beijing Olympic village, the Shanghai Expo Center and the Asian Games in Guangzhou - not only making them environmentally friendly, but also more beautiful.

By integrating solar collectors on the parking area for coaches at the Expo Center, it provided protection from the sun's heat and also produced hot water for use in the facility.

Its solar hot water systems at the Olympic and Asian Games villages used unique horizontal installations that followed the framework of buildings, preserving their attractive appearance.
