One of the newest attractions at Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province, known as the "Oriental Venice", is a show called Impression, West Lake, based on a legend about a female snake demon, who falls in love with a mortal scholar, one of the outdoor shows by the renowned film director Zhang Yimou.
