Ginseng stored in bottle of alcohol blooms into life

Two ginseng roots kept in a bottle of sorghum liquor for 27 years are blooming and sprouting leaves.

The ginseng was kept by a resident, surnamed Liang, in Guiyang, Guizhou province. "I got the ginseng in 1984 from one of my relatives and I put them in the sorghum liquor in a bottle and stored the bottle under my bed," said Liang, a retired traffic policeman.
