Elderly farmer continues 50-year tomb vigil

An elderly farmer from Xiongjiazui village, Hong'an county, Hubei province, has been voluntarily taking care of 73 tombs that house the bodies of unnamed soldiers for the past 50 years.

Jiang Nengshan was the village Party chief in 1962 and learned that there was a group of tombs on the mountain next to the village. Jiang started taking care of the burial places and has kept it up ever since.
