Jovanni Sy is taking a much-deserved day off. After more than a month in Hong Kong getting cast and crew up to speed for the four-day production of God of Carnage in late May, the Toronto-based actor and director is stretching his legs and enjoying some seafood on sunny Lantau island.

"Everything has been going well with rehearsals, except for the small blip of recasting the part of Veronica," notes Sy as he dives into his surf-and-surf plate of tiger prawn and pan-fried perch.
