Woman nets 50,000 yuan with scratch-and-win receipt

A woman in Renshou county, Sichuan province, won 50,000 yuan ($7,700) on a scratch-and-win receipt recently.

The woman, surnamed Luo, spent 230 yuan on a dinner with her friends in a local fish restaurant. When she scratched the receipt, she found she had won the big prize. Luo's first thought was that the receipt might be false and she kept it in her purse. But over the next few days, she won 105 yuan on scratch-and-win receipts, which prompted her to verify the authenticity of the previous win.
