Torrential rains lead to disaster that kills at least two, 19 others missing

BEIJING - A mudslide caused by heavy rainfall on Monday swept away a makeshift dormitory at a quarry in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, killing at least two workers, while another 19 were missing, local authorities said.

The mudslide occurred at 1:30 pm near a quarry in Luojiang village in Quanzhou county, located three hours' drive away from the tourist city of Guilin.
