Hopeful panda pounces on peacock intruder at zoo
A panda bit a peacock to death in the zoo in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, on May 2.
The 5-year-old male panda, named Xi Wang, which literally means hope, played a cat-and-mouse game with a poor peacock after catching it around 8 am, said keeper Chen Jun.
