Doctor donates blood to patient before operating
A hospital doctor in Xianyang, Shaanxi province, donated blood to his patient before performing an emergency operation.
The doctor, Wu Zhaiwen, was supposed to operate on a colopathy patient on April 30. However, blood supplies were short and the patient was in critical condition, so Wu donated 400 milliliters of blood.
