China grabs Golden Seed prizes

Seventeen Chinese counties and towns were given the Golden Seed awards at the Second Village Tourism Forum last weekend. The villages, judged most worth visiting, included Debao county in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Longyang Town in Shandong province and Fenghuang ecological botanical garden in Shanxi Province. The Yellow River Hukou Culture and Art Festival was awarded the most influential village tourism festival. The forum also discussed low-carbon travel trends and brand strategy in developing village tourism.
