Anniversary celebration

The Song and Dance Ensemble of the General Political Department of the PLA will present two shows of classic Chinese songs to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Founded in 1953, the ensemble is known for its performances of revolution-themed songs, including Long Live the Motherland, We Are the Yellow River and Heroes Conquered the Dadu River, which have been passed down for generations in China. On April 27 and 28, young singers and dancers will perform to the theme, In the Name of Youth. On May 1 and 2, the first-class singers will present classic songs from the 1980s and 1990s.
