Yao Shaohua's stylized lines capture feline grace and power

One of the most eye catching items in a hall of the official South Korean presidential residence, or Blue House, is the Chinese painting Tiger Flying.

A state gift from the Chinese government, it was created by renowned painter Yao Shaohua, one of the nation's top artists specializing in tiger paintings.
