Facebook may enter China

Facebook Inc, which operates the world's most popular social networking site, will soon make its way to China by establishing a Chinese version of its website in the world's largest Internet market, said Hu Yanping, general manager of the research company Data Center of China Internet.

Hu wrote in his micro blog that the agreement between Facebook and its Chinese partner has already been signed. Chinese media reported that the domestic search engine Baidu Inc may be Facebook's partner, citing company insiders. Baidu declined to comment on the reports.
