Questions remain over Libyan air strikes

End date for military action still unclear

LONDON - Key questions regarding Western air strikes against Libya remained unanswered as the London conference on the crisis in the North African country wrapped up on Tuesday afternoon.

The conference was an opportunity for those parties involved in the intervention to coordinate their policies, but by the end of the meeting they gave no indication of when the military action might end, Eugene Rogan, director of the Middle East Centre at St Antony's College at the University of Oxford, told China Daily.
