35-year-old Canadian pianist David Braid will team up with a Chinese musician, guzheng (a traditional Chinese stringed instrument) player Chang Jing, for a night of jazz exploration of traditional Chinese music at on March 27. Popular Chinese folk songs, including The Moon Night in the Spring Flower River, will be played jointly by the two artists. Braid first toured Shanghai in 2004 and uses his concerts as a chance to try out Chinese music.
