Russia regretted the military action against Libya, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said in a statement on Saturday. Lukashevich also said the military action against Libya was based on a "hastily passed" UN Security Council resolution, and he urged an end to violence on all sides.
