Play to your strengths and find a nice guy

When my girlfriends and I go out to bars in Beijing, I find it really hard to meet guys who are interested in me. I'm 27 and from Canada. I'm not bad looking, but I feel like I can't compete with all these super-attractive Chinese women. Is there a better way to meet a nice guy here?

Ah, yellow fever, the foreign woman's curse. The good news is there are many nice single guys here looking for "the one". The advantage you have is that you not only stand out from the crowd, but you can also converse and more importantly understand and share the same cultural touchstones as Western men. Put that to your benefit by looking to business chamber events or other foreign specific gatherings.
