Though the Houston Rockets are one of the NBA's highest-scoring teams, they relied on defense and rebounding to beat the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday night.
Kevin Martin (pictured) scored 21 points, Chuck Hayes matched his season high with 17 rebounds and the Rockets never trailed in a 94-78 victory.
Chase Budinger scored 19 and rookie Patrick Patterson added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Rockets, who are 2 1/2 games behind Memphis for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
