China is not Middle East

The turmoil in Libya has prompted some vested interests to use the Internet to stir people into creating trouble on the streets of some Chinese cities. But such mischievous acts are doomed to fail because China is not a Middle East country, says an article in People's Daily Overseas Edition. Excerpts:

The past three decades have seen a majority of Chinese people succeed in their struggle for livelihood. Today, they are well aware that national stability and social harmony is the backbone of the country, and the most important factor in its march toward a better future.
