More Chinese women are making it into the elite lists of international business. Pauline D Loh, Wang Xing, Zhao Yanrong and Yu Tianyu examine three stars on the Forbes and Fortune 500 rosters.

They don't wear flowing capes over red bodysuits, but they are all part of the supreme sisterhood of commerce, the top movers and shakers behind some of the best-known household names of China. And soon perhaps, the world.

They are the chief executives of some of China's top companies, lone women sitting on top of billions of dollars of assets in companies such as Gree, Huawei and Haier.
