At Kanto Gakuin University, in the city of Yokohama, Japan, "we take pride in shaping the minds of future generations and in delivering a first class education," according to the school's president.
In describing his feelings about this, Koichi Ohno said, "I'm passionate about raising the level of education of our students. We have a great role to play in giving them the right skills and knowledge."
There is evidence of that commitment in the increasing numbers of foreign students, especially those from China. After all, the university offers a wide range of study in the arts and sciences, while taking particular pride in its business, economics, and engineering programs.
