Ding to lead the Chinese charge at Hainan Classic

BOAO, Hainan - Local snooker sensation and crowd pleaser Dong Junhui will take on Graeme Dott, Scotland's 2006 world champion, today to open his campaign at the China Life-Xingpai Hainan Classic in this township on Hainan Island, which is famous for hosting the Miss World competition.

"I'm glad that we have another tournament in China, especially on beautiful Hainan Island. I believe the matches here will be more fun and impressive due to the nice climate and scenery," Ding said on Wednesday during the pre-tournament press conference.
