Training to improve dealings with media

BEIJING - Spokespersons for Communist Party of China (CPC) committees at all levels should efficiently release news and better understand the rules of news communication in an age of information, a senior CPC official said on Tuesday.

Li Changchun, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks at the first national training program for CPC committee spokespersons.

More than 200 spokespersons and publicity officials from central and local CPC departments attended the three-day event, which ended on Wednesday in Beijing.
