Targets set by the State Council for the reinforcement of small reservoirs
By the end of 2012, 5,400 small reservoirs with capacities of between 1 million and 10 million cubic meters should be improved.
By the end of 2013, 15,900 small reservoirs with dams higher than 20 meters and capacities of between 200,000 and 1 million cubic meters should be reinforced.
