Sister to sell kidney to give man life-changing surgery

A woman in Xiangtan, Hunan province, has been taking care of her paralyzed brother for seven years, and is willing to sell one of her kidneys to pay for a transplant operation that will help him to stand again.

Zhu Fanglin has been the main carer of her younger brother, Zhu Fangming, since an accident in March 2004 left him paralyzed and unable to take care of himself. He suffered severe memory loss and can only manage to eat.
