Huge power bill raises alarm among bloggers

Electric Power of Shanghai apologized on Thursday for sending an incorrect bill to a resident but said it was a single unexpected mistake, despite mounting complaints about high bills.

On Feb 15, a copy of a bill titled "my electric bill reached 52,824.3 yuan ($8,020)" was first posted at sina.com.cn by a micro-blogger named linglingdareno0.
