Policeman spent 21 years as unknown benefactor

A policeman in Jiulongpo district, Chongqing municipality, helped more than 100 people who faced financial difficulties with donations worth 60,000 yuan ($9,100) over the past 21 years.

Luo Kesheng, 45, head officer of a traffic police team in the district, was often upset when he learned of people in difficulties from newspaper stories and TV shows. Luo would then try to find the people and donate money to them.
