Cool idea wins hot top prize

BEIJING - Pradeep Suthram and his colleagues were finally able to put their business proposal into practice after winning a cash prize of $3,000 dollars at the sixth Annual China Business Plan Competition.

The event was co-organized by the University of Maryland's Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship and Guanghua School of Management at Peking University on Jan 14 in Beijing.

There were six finalist teams of master of business administration (MBA) students, from Robert H. Smith School of Business in Maryland, Guanghua School of Management and the University of International Business and Economics, both in Beijing.
